dear friend no need for harsh words. did my research. It was working on stock Android Pie, not on beta 1. Hope it works in beta 2. If you don't know the answer, no need in treating others like they're retarded.

My OP7 Pro (GM1913) went into Qualcomm Crashdump Mode after rebooting to finish the installing.

    "Qualcomm Crashdump Mode
    Fatal exception
    PC at:arm_smu_context_fault+0x910/0x918"

Fortunately after I held down the volume up + power button, the phone booted up and notified that it's been updated successfully.

    1. A few mobile banking apps not working. Seems to be a problem for app developer though.
    2. Wallpaper-clock display customization bug is there. Needs to be rectified.
    3. No ambient display settings change. No inclusion of manually-set blinking horizon light, no ambient display. Basically a small incremental update.
    4. Battery life needs to be tested more to reach a certain conclusion.Till now it appears fine.

I would like oneplus to take feedbacks more seriously and implement accordingly. A major change might need a few betas to be passed by, but at least it should be considered and implemented at day's end.

Mate, this issue is not a OnePlus Issue. Banking apps need to be updated by the Bank app developers. They need to make it compatible with Android 10. Some banks have already done that and some banks didn't. This question had already been answered a few times in Beta 1 thread aswell in Beta2 thread.
Sorry if I made you feel like a retard. Wasn't me intention.

turning force-dark in developer options on and back off again made the notifications turn white on my op7.
this makes me think its not intentional and it looks bad anyway.

Is there any way that I cam install this update besides the local upgrade? because that seems not working, it didn't detect the file.

Please do not ask for ETA's. It is not done on forums. See the forum rules.
Nobody knows the ETA for stable!

There is a reason white bar is there. If you are using multiple keyboards then you can easily switch between them and minimize the keyboard without having to click back button if you using new gestures.

I do have Android 9 on my 7 Pro as well and I know the icons look like that.
But that screenshot of the new status bar icons in Android 10 is taken on a Pixel phone with stock Android, not on the OnePlus' open beta of Android 10.

The status bar icons on this open beta of Android 10 by OnePlus seem to be same old ones as in Android 9.

When I saw the news that Open beta 2 is now available. I downloaded the zip file using idm+ and transfer that file to root directory and but still Local Upgrade doesn't show any files that is available. So I'm looking for other options to install the update instead of using Local Upgrade.
