Trying to work out what you want to say, but generally the apps are developed by a third party, not OnePlus, so these developers can make their app compatible with Android 11.

Does the apps have A11 support? Do the apps require a certified build?

I wouldn't call it abnormal. I usually don't use AOD anyway, so I'm with you on that. On the Pixel 4 XL, I didn't use it. It's a major battery killer on it too. I'd rather have Ambient display where I just tap on the screen to see the time and notifications.

-The text has no color sometimes or maybe it's black on black background.
-The battery level is not being indicated accurately on the bar in the most recent clock type.
    - Battery optimisation so poor. (6hrs at 66% with basic usage)
    - Some touches take time to respond.
    - Snapchat toolbar on the bottom is coinciding with the home button space.

I do it everytime a major version update is installed. Like having 10 installed and upgrading to 11. This regardless of having issues or not. Because then I know the issues I will have is because of the installed the version and not because of issues causes by the upgrade itself.
And ofcourse if having issues you can't solve or if they are serious enough to make you want to rollback. Since rollback wipes anyway... Why not wipe the beta before rolling back.

You might want to force stop Play Store and wipe data of it and see if that battery usage goes away.

The OB1 wasn't certified, so maybe that's the case with OB2 also... GPay needs a certified build to work.

Was you allowed to register your credit card and payments options? Or is the problem that it does not work in stores? Wiped G-Pay and set it up again? You can even wipe everything inside your Google account.
Everything works for me in beta 2. Could not pay with it in beta 1. Early in beta 1 it did not allow me to activate contactless payments. But one day it allowed it all the sudden. Probably something done at my bank or something.

Never any Play Store update issues for me. I did a wipe and clean install at DP3 and have upgraded since then.
Maybe the Play Store issues that many had (for example updates and downloads getting stuck) was triggered by something via 10 upgrades for example. No normal solution worked it seemed. But those that wiped got it solved.
