its not about update, its about brand loyalty, software support, customer trust. 7T is a year old and we dont expect such delay as official 11 is released in October. Company is focused on new models so obviously 7T users will feel this, and with the beta still not out stable will be till feb as two betas are needed to remove bugs. So the gap from October to February is a little too much for a year old device which was launced a beast in its time. So try to feel this from the users side. No offense you love OnePlus a lot and you wont be able to take this, but try to. For the record i still love OP and i am not ditching it, but surely my next phone wont be OP because of all these reasons. Also i used OP3 for 4 years and 7T is my second OP device.

true. op3 was so good. it even got pie update even though the cycle was only of 2 years. Probably to get customers attention cz clearly now they aren't going out of the way, only for new device but old, big no no for them. They'll lose trust in customers slowly but steadily, very hard to gain once lost.

    Hey guys,

This was already addressed here: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...-instead-of-bi-monthly.1358056/#post-22473959

There are no changes to the update plan.

As I had the chance to mention in another thread,

I would suggest reading more reliable websites. Piunikaweb is known for taking things out of context and making them into clickbait news. Funk Wizard is a moderator and therefore a user just like you. He doesn't have any information on when the update will be released and that was only his opinion. The post was later edited to mirror this, but the site never retracted the article.

As of now, there is no official launch date for Android 11 for any device. Once there is, it will be posted by an official account here on the forums.
