There are more 7t users who's buildnumber was unknown after the first OS11 update. Did you turn on advanced mode in Oxygen updater? If you select full update after that, you should be able to download it

I can see the issue, your build number is unknown, so Oxygen Updater can't check which version you are on.

Also you have the HD1907 variant, which was originally a TMobile carrier phone.

Are you on TMobile or has the phone been converted to an international version?

Where did you install the last update from?

No, I am not using T mobile. I have a little knowledge about T mobile but i have been using my own country sim for last 3 month without any disturbance. I have updated Android 11 from Oxygen updater two days ago.

Just a query, did you buy the phone on the second hand market?

I am not concerned about that. I have checked activation number after buying the phone and it's similar to the day i have bought the phone from the shop.

The reason I ask is because a lot of US TMobile phones which have been converted to global variants have hit the second hand markets around the world. The Bootloader on these variants are different to the Global version and can cause some issues such as you see there now.

With Android 11 security now tightened from previous versions this can have unknown consequences. So when the third party app such as Oxygen Updater attempts to update it may no longer have the necessary permission to view the Build number and you now get the issue you are currently seeing.

Here is a forum on XDA with the same issue as you.

Currently there is no solution. But keep an eye on XDA and converted TMobile OnePlus 7T phones, they may find a workaround.

I am so disappointed after hearing this.. what can i do now, I am feeling guilty to update it into Android 11. previous 10 was better for me where build number and everything showing as it a normal impression of activated system.

Yes, Android 10 had less security features to allow continuous updates, only way around it possibly would be to download the file from a direct link, from XDA or another source and Manually install them. See if that will work for you.

This is a repository of links for the 7T, has 3 versions. If yours is global, have pointed to the Global zip files in the image below.

You should be able to see the update ready to download on the first screen of the app
