Under system the 5th point is new. This is not present in my changelog and it is not present in the description in the first page. Its not a feature but still the changelog is edited. Will have to wait and see if this build will be available for those who already updated to android 10

so are we getting the op5t gestures because the android 10 gestures are really annoying, I can't use it with my Spigen case, it has raised edges so the back gesture does not work well.

Getting back the OP5 /OP5T gestures are an easy fix.

All you need to do is get your hands on an app that allows you to alter the values in Android’s Settings Database, like SetEdit. After installing the app, navigate to the “System Table” and search for the variable named op_gesture_button_side_enabled. This is a Boolean flag, thus setting its value to 0 instantly brings back the old full-screen gestures. In case you need to restore the new implementation, just set the value as 1.

No the settings stayed last time I rebooted. It will stay even if you uninstall the app for sure.

Curious what country you're located. I'm in the US and we haven't rec'd the update yet though with all the bugs reported and the lack of OP gestures, I doubt I'd update until they release a new build. I have a Spigen case too

I've been on OOS 10 for around a week and I'm pretty happy with it, the difference in fluidity is very noticeable, the system overall feels much smoother,

I've seen people say battery life is worse but personally my battery life is either the same or slightly better, same in terms of the phone getting hot, either the same or slightly cooler.

the only problem I've found so far is Bluetooth audio, mainly with airpods (yes i know, they were a gift) i have this problem where the audio volume is much lower than normal, as in full volume is only as loud as one third volume level of what it would normally be, i tried enabling and disabling "disable absolute volume" and disable and enabling HD audio, I don't know if this is a bug or if there's something I'm doing wrong.

Overall i think this is a great update, the smoothness improvement in scrolling and everyday movement really wakes up the phone and feels like a new phone.

Thanks.. Nothing here yet in the US.. Just checked. I won't update until I see 10.0.1 or higher. Like you and others I like the Android 9/OP gestures

I purchased my OnePlus 5T in UK. I haven't got the update to Android 10 just yet but can't wait to get it either. How safe is the oxygen updater app on the play store to update my opo 5t?

    Apparently.
Maybe whoever received it and sent the rom to oxygen updater was rooted/unlocked
Others might get it as a smaller update.
You can't possibly call this hotfix. It's been like 2 weeks since the first stable.

Oxygen updater is safe. You get the same files there that you get via system update in your phone. I've never had any issues with it myself and haven't heard of anybody else having issues either.
