I only mentioned I was rooted to show no issues. I did get the update through the official updated as well. But because I'm rooted I use the updated app to get me the img file to flash in custom recovery.

You don't have to be rooted to use the Oxygen Updater app. I originally started using it because you can get updates faster than the built in Updater. You probably won't get it till later because of how they roll out updates for different regions which is the issue I always have. The oxygen Updater app is not region specific so if an update is released it will pop up there usually within a couple of hours and is safe to use.

As for pretty much everything, I'd say you're 100x more likely to hear from unhappy people than from happy or neutral people.
For me personally, there's no more issue after the latest update.

    Is it working smoothly?..
    Any problems?
Did you do a factory reset or just a normal upgrade?

Bruh... it's same build but with hotfix for something but for what? We don't know bcs no changelogs

For those unsure how smooth the update is, you only have to look at all the people whinging about not receiving the update yet. OnePlus slows/stops the rollout of major OS upgrades to more users when serious issues are uncovered. If you haven't got the update yet, consider yourself lucky. Just the fact not everybody has received the update yet, including in major markets, tells you all you need to know about the quality and stability of this new version.

No, its was a part of OnePlus commitment that they would deliver android 10 on a old phone like 5 & 5t.

I believe they don't even tested this final update. It has lots of bugs and dont even expect that OnePlus will fix that issues .

OrangeFox recovery. It's a variation of TWRP. No issues so far. I mainly like the fact it has the option to remove or add Magisk with ease. so if you boot loop it can remove it. You don't need to worry about the Magisk uninstaller.

I Have updated to android 10 one week back.
The battery life has reduced significantly after the update the screen on time comes max 3 and half hours.
The phone hang up delay issue is back with this update which was solved with the last android 9 update.
Apart from this two issues didn't find any other problems.
Please fix the battery drain issue

It's a complain of almost everyone! Google forced Smartphone companies to adopt new Google system navigation gestures. OnePlus have accomplished the imposition but OnePlus doesn't allow users to control the sensitive of the swipe as Google does.
