I had received the notification for the Android update on my phone. I did not install it then and it was there in my notification panel. However, now it has vanished from my notifications and even the settings option show that there is no new update available.

Can somebody tell what is the solution here?

Stay on 9 . Once you'll update to 10 you'll regret doing it..

OP5. Purchased on launch day. Been used non stop for over three years now. Battery at 85% of mah left.
Thirteen days ago (19th) I went to see if the update was available and it was there. I thought about whether or not I should install it for a couple of days and then pulled the trigger. While not the best update that has come through the pipeline from OnePlus, it also is no where near as bad as the Android 9 update fiasco was.

My usage: Animations are at .5. I am wifi only, using Google Voice and WhatsApp for calls and texts. I use Play Music when in the car (downloaded playlist only). I play a golf and casino game for a few hours every day. I look at the weather (noaa app) a couple of times a day. I use the Brave browser to keep an eye on Craigslist free and a couple of my favorite blogs a few times a day. And I average five or so pics a day from the camera. In total I have 49 apps installed on my phone. I also want to add that I am a bit anal retentive when it comes to bugs and lag.

What I have noticed since updating: No noticeable change in SoT. Overall the phone isn't quite a quick, though it's not too noticeable. Screen brightness is back to where it was on Android 8, which is terrific. I am back to using it at 30%, rather than 50%. The screen also looks better. I think they went more on the blue side. It takes a couple of seconds for the phone to recognize me turning up or down the volume. My wifi connectivity isn't quite as good - I now have to stay close to the house for connection when I am outside working. I also don't connect to xfinity hotspots near as often when driving. Calls on GVoice and WhatsApp are a million times better. Call quality is crisp and good, in both directions. Any notification ringtone that I had set myself (off of default) had to be re set in order for me to get a notification sound. When going in and out of stores, my time would change. The update turned back on "use network time". Turning it back off fixed it. The casino game causes a bit more heat (I let it use gaming mode where before I didn't) and it will sometimes be behind a bit when spinning the slot reels, along with completely freezing up from time to time. The app freezes, not the phone. So could be an app issue. Rebooting is the only fix. My golf game runs better. The slide bar for when taking a shot never jitters like it did from time to time on Android 9 (gaming mode now being used for this app also).

That's about it. Overall I am just ok with the update. I'm not excited to have it, nor am I mad that I updated. I don't see a reason to roll back to 9 like I had to do twice last year with the 9 update. I am yet to have to reboot due to lag and freezing, except for the casino game. Which is a plus. Sorry for the long post, but my usage is different than most and I didn't want to overexaggerate the issues.

Most of us disagree to that. We need new os. New features. We are ready to format our device and lose all the data by installing just beta! One reason why I would upgrade to 10 is because I can charge the device and play pubg at the same time. In last 9, the device used to overheat and it was disabling fast charging.

Don't know for others but my device is performing well, I am on the earlier build of OOS 10 and the Wifi drop is reduced, no screen stuttering, My voice recorder works perfectly. I can finally say thank you to one plus, Awaiting more stability in 10.0.1 #NeverSettle

Hi, I don't like the Android 10 update. There are a lot of issue:
    - sometimes keyboard on WhatsApp doesn't work, when I write doesn't appear text on screen
    - everytime I receive, miss, make a call the data connection falls
    - sometimes I receive a call but I don't see on the screen and I can't answer
    - the notification bar crash often
Not all but the most important

Its been over two months and still the wifi drop issue is not resolved. This is really bad for a company rolling out flagship phones. Please resolve the wifi drop issue. Why did you take phone logs and screenshots from me if you're not planning to resolve the issue at all.

Went back to OxygenOS 9.0.11. And that's the moment when the actual downgrade looks like an upgrade, what a difference in speed and smoothness. Didn't realize it when I was on OxygenOS 10.
