Considering this to be the last update for this device, but still we are getting it, thank god, would have been better if we would have got August security patch though, June is already 2 months old, Just saying.

One more cup of software for the road... One is left for us. Last update will be in October or November, I guess. 3 years full is on Nov. 15th 2020. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/OnePlus_5T

Of course they won't release that features. Nord has to sell, they won't waste more time with older models but please, at least give a final version with that major bugs corrected and call it a day.

After updating to android 10 the battery is draining quickly even without using the device, 10% charge is consumed in a few minutes. There is also a constant crash when starting applications and new tabs in google chrome, simply the images do not load completely. I cleared the cache memory through recovery mode since the system update and more times but these problems continue.

There's better and smart choice's in Android world.
Don't trust Smartphone companies, they start to be user friendly and end like every other brands!!!

    But have plastic frame/estruture feature!
    That's a feature even OnePlus 3 don't have!

That's not the point. The point seems to be Oneplus is holding on updates, not allocating resources to solve bugs in the 5/5T because they know some people with these devices are thinking about buying a new phone. So, doing this they're "helping" people to be persuaded to buy a new device faster. A Oneplus device of course...like the Nord that has a price similar to what people who bought 5/5T paid.

If Oneplus really wanted to please users who are complaining about the 5/5T, they could've solved this months ago. They'd just allocated more programmers in their offices and this would be solved. But this is not a priority to them. Instead they even took features we had like EIS. What more proof do people need of what's happening.

I don't care about words. I care about actions. They could say wonders, that they care about their customers, that they love us, that they are paying attention etc but in the end what they do is what counts. If they don't deliver = they don't care about users. Period.

They eventually are going to give us that update for sure. BUT they took "forever" making people buy a new device. Quality of service is also related to the time you take to do something. If you say you're going to do something but take forever, that is bad also and reveals true intentions.

    Security patch 2020.06?
EIS had been added to bring you a more stable shooting experience?
EIS exists on our device since Android 7 "beginning" and was broken on first Android 10 stable release, so, this turned now to be a added feature?
Where is old OnePlus navigation gestures feature?

Hope this isn't what we will get and...

Removing from equation the China exclusive features, Youku, Wallet app and WeChat, this is one more empty Update for Global versions of OnePlus 5/5T users.

Is OnePlus, one of the best Android company updating they devices?

Samsung will provide at least 3 major Android updates to every flagship since the Galaxy S10

    Got bored of these gestures

I was using a custom rom
It was stock android just like Pixel, had better gestures
It's not about me using gesture or not
It's about how many years does it take for OnePlus to implement something which is very basic in Android

Like it's been 3 to 4 years they can't implement a simple thing
Like this OOS 10 doesn't even have the most basic things stock android 10 had in its initial public release
This stable build is like the developer preview of Android 10, like that's the level of stability it has

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
