Yeah, should do that with a new phone. My port is so clogged that I couldn't get all of it out. I can still dash charge for now, but I'll give it another few months before I won't be able to do that. Hoping for those Covid checks this month so I can shop around. Ha ha

I agree, I messed my port up cleaning it out. I'm not American but it is a concern that 45 and his schizophrenic ways will turn on other Chinese manufacturers next and leave me with a doorstop. All active Huawei devices were allowed continued support though I enjoyed all the beta days but either they don't have the skill set or the organization hierarchy it would appear to handle supporting the number of devices they want to put out requiring active support. Maybe they will hire and catch up before it is too late.

I agree, it's stupid how 45 has gone after China lately. I was considering a OP8, but I don't wanna take the risk of buying a phone whose support will end overnight depending on 45s mood.

Use an old iphone sim remover pin (the square-ish one, not the round one) or a seringe needle and dig in until you reach plastic. Make sure you're thorough and go all around.

Lol that's never happening. If they are going to give oos 11 then there would be more devices to work with.

They promised us dc dimming and ram boost and later told that the hardware isn't supported.
Yesterday I watched a video a custom rom which had the dc dimming feature 😂😂😂.
OnePlus has become a shitty company now.Thats all I can say
