OxygenOS 10.0.0 for the OnePlus 5 and 5T

Only OnePlus and reviewers calls it a flagship not anyone else. They use cheap parts not the high end ones. Like no 1440p screen, no flagship camera, no dedicated audio dac. They just throw a flagship processor and call it the powerhouse or the flagship killer.

Right now the developers are busy unfüking the mistakes they did. They don't have time to fix all the issues and you are asking for a new one. No matter what they release, it will be full of bugs

I think its about time we contact a tech youtuber. I believe I can reach lew from unbox therapy. I have contacted him once before and he replied! He would be interested to show this on one of his news episodes.

Maybe then everyone will know how bad this company is. That would serve them well.

    I agree with you.

By the way, OnePlus 6T going through the same issue. Last update July 27th, stuck with July security patch. This device is not even 2 years old yet, that's not acceptable. OnePlus just abandoned their old devices to focus on launching new products.

Android 10 was as well a mess for OP6T.

Someone needs to bring this to media attention, Samsung is improving, others are improving their software support and OnePlus is going backwards.

I'm looking at Xiaomi Mi 10 or Poco F2 Pro, but I'm open to suggestions.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE it's way to expensive than this 2 options I mentioned.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    I live in Europe!
In India smartphones tend to be way cheaper than in Europe...
I've learned with OnePlus that less than 3 years it's the all brands programed Obsolescence, so we must spend on best smartphone less money can buy.

In 2017 was OnePlus with they Flagship killers but now it's not the case anymore.

I know about that, but that is more a thing in low to mid devices, and in markets like India.
In Europe, ads can be switched of in software it self.

I would like to buy an OnePlus 8 device, but not for the money OnePlus or another's stores are selling it.
Especially now that I know that OnePlus devices only have good update ratings for 2 month and a half, then, suddenly all falls down.
And now there's the Facebook Bloatware to.

Samsung devices are now better updating they devices with 3 years of updates but it's not cheap devices in Europe, they are very, very expensive devices.

Nord devices I don't like at all!

Miss the good old Flagship killers OnePlus used to be.

Don't like pixel smartphones, they are really ugly, it's expensive compared to what other brands gives, and besides, doesn't sell in my country.
The Pixel 4a have a good one hand use size, but fails don't have good battery backup, no screen fingerprint sensor no 90Hz display, and the Software it's way too basic in features and most of all it lacks customization features.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

Going with Pixel 4a (non 5G version). OnePlus not on my list anymore with this OP5 mess. Will not be recommending this brand anymore to family and friends.
