OxygenOS 10.0.1 for the OnePlus 5 and 5T Nov 11, 2020

    Hey everyone,

    We are starting to push the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS version 10.0.1 for the OnePlus 5 devices and the incremental roll-out for OnePlus 5T will soon follow.

    Changelog
    • System
      • Fixed the abnormal call recording issue
      • Fixed the de-activated alarm issue when the phone was powered off
      • Updated Android Security Patch to 2020. 09
      • Updated GMS package to 2020.08
    • Full Screen Gestures
      • Back gesture from the bottom of the screen is available (OP5T only)
    • Camera
      • Electronic Image Stabilization has been added, bringing you the more stable shooting experience

    This OTA will have a staged rollout. The OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. Using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout Is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices.

    For those who were on previous versions for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, we appreciate your active feedback and for reaching out to us. With your help, we have been able to better optimize and improve several key areas. Thank you for your patience and as always, we look forward to getting your continued feedback via the Community app.

    We afraid of such statements by oneplus now onwards due to what happened in last 2 months. The delay was acknowledged by @Gary C. And confirmed that it will be resolved at top priority but it took 2+ months to receive this update & now the above statement..Lets see what happens.

    by the way, it's not written this is the last update (as it is on OP3/3t last post) so... let's hope for future patch, maybe another last final update with November/December security patch and fixes for latest known bugs found in this 10.0.1
