Brand offers 2 years of Android version update and 3 years of security patches.
Android version support ended in November 2019 which makes Android 10 the final update for OnePlus 5/5T.
Hence, no Android 11 for the these devices.

I've been attempting to get a straight answer from support via email regarding 10.0.2 but all I get is indirect answers. Do you have certainty it will be released and if so, how? My phone is running GREAT on 9.0.11; battery lasts nearly as long as new and its snappy. And while I'm a VERY light user and have only 63 apps installed, I hesitate to update to 10.0.1. Thanks

On who's Twitter? I can't imagine an authorized support rep posting unconfirmed information about an update on social media.

If you are on beta, https://www.oneplus.in/support/softwareupgrade
Download this rom and install from recovery. Remember to wipe all cache and data.
If you are already on 10.0.0 then wait for the rom to appear on this website to do it officially. You don't have to wait forever to get it via ota.
Unofficially you can get the rom from oxygen updater. It's not recommended though for security reasons.
alternatively you can ask the nearest service center to do it for you. they may or may not charge.

    I m currently running Evolution X based on 11
Now this is still in alpha so I don't recommend this, there are some things here and there breaking....
    You could try
YAAP rom based on 11 very simple and lite customization and pretty stable!!
    Pixel experience rom,
the very first build just came out so there aren't customizations yet but pure stock pixel android 11 experience with latest security patch and Google camera [e]1f64c[/e]🏼

does EIS work on Google camera ?
Because my Gcam does not support EIS and it's extremely important to me (and thanks to OnePlus, i don't have it anymore/or as it was in A9)
