yea, the "clear cache" thing is kept being thrown randomly. Anyway, it's free i agree but if that was necessary, then developers would allow clearing cache right after updating the OS.
And as i said, yes, clear cache can be picked as a solution if the device is not functioning.

Does anyone have an issue where after installing the update, the phone goes to the setup screen where you can select your language and then it goes to the 'just a sec' screen and gets stuck there?
I really need to find a fix

Nope. Running smooth on my side. I gave the phone to my dad.

Wonder if they'll provide another update. They didn't explicitly say this is the last one like they did with the OnePlus 3/T

Replacing the battery is a known option. However, study the following:

May be the usage of the applications are extensive during the referred period and the system computes the time for complete drain, on your known pattern of use. Rest the phone for 30 minutes and chech the drainage pattern, before taking a call.

This OnePlus 5 is over 3.5 year old. The time now is 17 Hours and the full drain on known usage pattern is tomorrow 13.15 Hours.

After updating this version phone has began to act weird. 9 was a very stable version. @OnePlus If you are not planning to give another version that's fine but at least make android 10 stable version.

Who all are facing this issue?

Can someone guide me through on what and how do I reset my OP5 to get better battery life? My current SOT is concerning as I don't have a heavy usage and I can't afford a new phone right now and repairs might not be possible right now. I've tried resetting and going back to A9 and updating via OTA update to A10 but the drain is horrible and it's difficult to make it last a day without charging. Seeing other fellow OP5 users get 5+hrs of SOT is really worrying me out about mine. No other bugs as such. Any help is appreciated

Looking at the apps you're using in the second image, the logical conclusion is the sheer number of third party apps you're using could be the problem. Try removing a bunch, testing for a couple of days and see if it improves.

OP isn't going to read your posts. Instead use the Feedback section or bug report tool. Support has stated a 10.0.2 is in the works though they won't say when it will be released. I agree about A9 stability which is why I haven't installed A10. Add to that 10.0.1 has outdated security and GSM patches I'm going to wait and see if the next one is better. I get great battery life and have zero problems with 9.0.11. Android 10 features are few if any. Enough said

Totally agree with you. I think I am gonna post in feedback sec. The battery is dying like anything. Every few hours I am recharging my mobile.

Every few hours? Yikes. I have a feeling its either time to replace your battery or get a new phone. The other option is charging the phone, installing this battery health app, t.ly/cYUs and looking at the efficiency. With a 90% charge mine reads 79% which for a phone this age seems great!
