Media sound is shifted from speaker to earpiece when a call is made or received while any media player is on, and isn’t recovered unless phone is rebooted. Is this any update bug?

Maybe he wanted to point out that the CVE-2020-11292 was (according to news) reported to OEM vendors in December 2020 so the fix could have been included in the 10.0.1 release..

I cannot seem to find android 10 upgrade for my 5t. The current OS version is OnePlus5TOxygen_43.T.54_GLO_054_1906241434.
Can anyone help me to upgrade to android 10?

I'm glad that we had finally got a somewhat stable build of OxygenOS 10.0.1, but before the final adieu would've loved to get the November security patch with the November update or at least give us one last security patch update last December as a farewell update. Just an opinion...but thanks for the update!

After all, it depends on your impressions, you know best how the battery holds now and how it was at the beginning. I have OP5 3.5 years myself and I do not even plan to change the battery because it is doing great.

    My experience:
Since Android System Webview crisis, I'm one of the victim till now.. Nothing suggestions or tutorial on how to fix this on earth didn't work for me.
    So I flash custom ROM.
    1. Arrow OS 11 GAPPs - After clean flash/install it's still the same as my previous OOS 10.0.1
    2. Pixel Extended - After clean flash/install it's still the same as my previous OOS 10.0.1
    3. Pixel Experience - After clean flash/install it's still the same as my previous OOS 10.0.1
    4. Lineage OS without GAPPs - After clean flash/install it worked fine but freeze sometimes, not as frequent as OOS, but I need Google so...
    5. Lineage OS with MindTheGaaps - After clean flash/install it worked fine but freeze sometimes, not as frequent as OOS, but I need to Bypass SafetyNet to use one of my essential (works) application. After I try to fix Safety Net and couldn't fix
    6. Oxygen OOS 9.0.9 - I downgrade my OS to Android 9(OOS9.0.9) which I am using right. This ROM is no different than other ROM, my phone still freeze, crash every application, system UI frequently.

I will be very happy if someone knows how to fix Safety Net as in Sl. 5 that I've mentioned above.

    Thankyou.

op5-off topic: are there any possibility to get HD video quality on Netflix app instead of SD?

i already have the 4k plan. the issue comes with L1 DRM old story. I'm not gonna send my phone to OP, but since then nothing has changed? Noone of the custom ROM can display content at HD resolution?

I am still running stock Oxygen 9.0.11 (with xXx_NoLimits_8.6)
    Boot Loader Unlocked
    Rooted with Magisk 22.1
    TWRP 3.3.1-0 Installed

Is it recommended to update to stock Oxygen OS 10.0.1 before flashing the newest LineageOS (Android Q or R)?

If so, should I flash it through:
    1. OTA
    2. Oxygen Updater App
    3. Download and flash .zip manually using TWRP
    Thanks!

I don't think you will need to flash the lastest stock OS. You will be flashing Lineage anyways.

I installed this oos and after a while I thought that because it is the 3rd major update that's why mobile has become slow and laggy.. simply I thought that device is slow because of the age of the processor..few weeks back I thought of installing lineage os..so I have samsung a5 2016 I installed lineage os 17.1 and it did wonders.then yesterday I installed lineage os 18.1 on my OnePlus 5 and my god phone is flying through everything.. it feels like I'm in 2017..now I realised that oos has become laggy and buggy and it's better to install another custom rom in your mobile if it is your secondary phone.
