It's issue with 5/5T software , bcz 6/6T users are not facing any issues.

I have A9.0.11. A10.0.1 was showing me in the past week, but as today it's again A10.0.0, Are we a joke to you? Damn you OnePlus, your reputation has sinked and settled. Once a proud OP owner, but not anymore

Do we lose data in this method?

There's a new option in the settings compared to 10.0.0 and it's not working for me. Im talking about "hide silent notifications in status bar"
    Screenshot_20201116-185523.jpg
This being turned ON was the default on OOS 10 but when I turn it OFF it doesn't act like it's turned OFF.
I want to see my silent notifications like OOS 9 and even when I disable the setting they're still hidden.
    Please fix this.
This was one of my complaints on Oxygenos 10: silent notification icons being hidden, they added a toggle that fixes it, but the toggle doesn't work for me :((((

I updated from 10.0.0 to 10.0.1. Have been using since 3 days

    1. UI freezes everyday when I wakeup the phone in the morning i.e., after a long idle time. No freezes in Chrome or UI in any other time.I have reported this as a bug to OP. If anyone knows any solution then kindly let me know

    2. Battery drain is same as earlier. I'm not a heavy user. I usually do phone calls for about 50-60 mins/ day and 10-15 mins of video calls and getting around 4.5 hrs of SOT on a full recharge which is good/decent in my opinion considering that my battery health is 80%.
Battery idle drain is around 3-4% over a period of 6-6.5 hrs overnight with all apps killed and data + wifi turned off

    3. No EIS in 4K and 1080p 60fps(it wasn't there from the beginning). Although the EIS in 720p and 1080p 30 fps are not as good as they were in 9.0.11.

Apart from these points, the call recording is working fine for me.

I had enabled VoWifi through logkit in 9.0.11. So when I upgraded to 10.0.0 back in May I had the option toggle button for VoWifi and even in 10.0.1, I have VoWifi and it works fine

Initially on the first day had issues in crashing of apps in my Work profile and it required reinstallation of all the apps in work profile.

Ever wondered the battery might be aged after using all these years?

    Interesting feedback.
Re: #1. Are you saying when you wake the phone up in the morning, touching the UI does nothing? If so, that's very strange.
Would you agree 9.0.11 performs better than 10.0.1? I ask since I decided against installing 10.0.0 due to the countless problems. Based on what you and few others have said, I think I'll stick with Android 9.

    I'm thinking about the same.
I didn't upgrade to 10.0.0 due to the reported bugs, so I stayed with 9.0.11

With this new announcement, I was thinking in updating to 10.0.1 directly, using Oxygen Updater.

So, you guys recommend staying with Android 9?

Between you and I, it seems logical to stay with A9. The security patch aside, it seems to me that OP's implementation of Android 10 was a big fail, regardless of model. Check out the A10 updates to other models and you'll see why. As the saying goes, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' :)

I wish I had found and read similar threads before updating to 10.0.0. The 5T became unusable for a basic telephone call and I had to fumble my way back to 9.0.11 where I plan to stay. It didn't matter if I bricked it, because I couldn't use it anyway. Now back on 9, the functions I use seem to work normally, and I am happy to have my notification light working again, too. I'm not a techie and don't plan to try to update to 10.? unless I see glowing comments here and everywhere. So please, everyone keep posting, because all knowledge is valuable.
