I'm wondering if I could install previous version of the stock camera app.

Are you saying you haven't installed any of the Android 9 updates and if so, why would you want this one? Regardless if you haven't rec'd the update notification, go to the Play store and install Oxygen Updater which will give you the download.. Hope it works well for you too

Hi, thanks for the reply. Indeed I did not update till now. I have noticed for some time now I am not offered over the air updates anymore. "my phone" says I'm up to date 😀, or perhaps it should be 😢.

Very bizarre...perhaps the IMEI number is black listed though not sure if that would prevent OTA updates either. I'd recommend doing a clean flash since you're moving up two Android versions rather than one. Personally I'm sticking with 9.0.11 since my phone performs nicely.

Why in 10.0.1 such terrible electronic image stabilization when shooting video?
Bring back the stabilization that was on version 9 of the android and the early versions.

EIS is only there on papers now. Just to show they brought it back

Yeah, it's a joke. SHAME, Oneplus not only already falling behind other OEMs in updates but also struggles to deliver a feature that already existed.

I'm curious about this since I don't shoot much video and am currently running 9.0.11. Having just received the 10.0.1 notification the details state that EIS has been added yet you say it hasn't. Are you using the native camera app and if so, where is EIS in the settings? Thanks

There's no EIS in the settings. EIS should've work normally when you select 1080p video but it doesn't.
There's no EIS working on Android 10.0.1
Not adding EIS would be bad when we had it in Android 9 but stating in the changelog they added it and in reality isn't there, it's another level of crook.
Seems like oneplus likes to "play with our faces".

Thanks. Being unfamiliar since I rarely shoot video I'm assuming recordings are shaky? Sorry for my ignorance. Just trying to figure out whether to update. Right now it seems that sticking with 9.0.11 seems best

Thanks I've restarted the phone and also "forgot" and synced the headphones again with only a little improvement, but not sure if that's just my imagination. They're still not as loud as before. Weird issue.
