    1- battery draining very fast.
2- not charging fastly even after showing charging rapidly.
3- There is lagg in the system thought i am on 8Gb RAM.
4- In landscape mode, notification panel gets locked, cannot change brightness, or location mobile data switching or any other option available in notification panel.

Getting 5.30 hours of sot with 9.0.11(3year old battery).
and 4.30 to 5 hour sot with 10.0.1.
Battery life of 9.0.11 is better.

Try to Optimize the phone, this helps with Lag, Heat, Battery Drain and much more.

Clear your recent apps, also set 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

After a couple of days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

But why I need to reset.? You developers think it's a joke every now & then to reset the phone whenever they we face a issue?

Why to erase & reset everything?

Never gonna buy OnePlus Device from now onwards.!!

I am still experiencing battery draining problems after 10.0.1 on my OnePlus 5T. It all started after the previous update, thought it would have been fixed in this patch but I believe it's not. Is there anyone else who's experiencing heavier battery drain with this upgrade?

Dont bother resetting or using the battery optimisation tricks. I have tried it and it hardly made a difference of 10-15 mins of extra SOT.
Its very clear that A10 has a serious bug resulting in severe battery drain. Also replacing the battery may not work cz its the software that needs to be fixed.
You may try using the device connected to Wifi all the time. It helped me getting a SOT of 7.5 hrs with normal phone usage.

Let us know the results. Ensure you completely charge the battery and have it connected to wifi all the time. Check the usage when the battery is at around 5%

You are master of doing what you want, but if you do not want to follow the advice they give you, do not post, I do not have the problems you complain, for my modest use the battery lasts 3 days with 4 hours of use, the rest is quite ok
