Oxygen OS is a skin on top of Android, hence a 3rd party to operating system.

You are right man & I would have updated had the security patch been latest. But it's October security patch being provided in December. I really don't care about Android 10. But they should atleast provide security patches every month as they claim to sell their devices.

My OP 6 is still running August security patch & not a single update since then. So much for the promise of 3 years of regular security updates. Even my mum's $100 Nokia 6.1 receives security updates within 10 days every month.

How about a NO? OxygenOS is a customised version of Android. A 'different product' which you are pointing out here will be one which is made completely by OnePlus from scratch. But this isn't the case here.

It's a staged rollout. Few got it on the release date itself, many are receiving it now. Your turn will be coming sooner than expected.

That's not correct! I've done some research and only the new Pixel 4 and 4XL doesn't support the two button navigation. But on the Pixel 3 and 3XL you still get the option to use the slightly emproved Android 9 gesture navigation. So I'm pretty sure that OnePlus could still implement the old gesture navigation.

Hi, Pubg Mobile isn't loading after the update. Stuck on the loading page, and getting an internet connection error after waiting.

EDIT: It's not working when I use my Jio SIM. Some sites don't load too. Everything works fine on the Idea SIM
