Updated 3 days ago via oxygen Updater, some apps are force closing, youtube and Instagram hangs many times, i cleared cache via recovery and still buggy os, wouldn't recommend updating to 10.0.1 from 9.0.17, it was way better, battery life for me decreased a little bit only and the mcleran edition fingerprint animation is gone now, do anyone know any trick on getting it back?

i updated 2 days back via the OTA and I've never flashed my phone with any outside local upgrades. Never installed 3rd party applications and never tried rooting my device.

I've used it as properly as it should be.

I'm happy to say that there aren't any major bugs in this update. There are a few things that need to be polished but it's just as usable as PIE.

Battery life is again just like before, same SOT just like on Pie. No complaints.

Also the gap between the Keyboard and bottom bar is not at all disturbing. In fact it's much more better than before. Looks just like on iPhones. You'll get used to it :)

I wish Oppo would shut down that "oxygen updater" program.
What people still don't understand about the Oppo OnePlus phones, is the USERS are pretty much the software
beta testers. They STAGE the rollout of the software updates, to gauge how well what little time they spent on the
software, actually works. When people start complaining, they HALT the rollout. When you use the oxygen updater app, you are jumping the gun. Then, they get on here and complain about the update wrecking their phone, bugs etc.
Just wait until your phone says the update is available. It's safer.

I recently updated my OnePlus 6t to 10.0.1 and would like to report a few bugs.

    1. Gap below the keyboard feels like something is already occupying the space. Result : Not able to use the complete screen real estate.
    2. Suddenly there are 2 Gpay icons in the App Drawer.
    3. Wire Browser crashing when trying to open the keyboard on VPN.

Please tell me you are finding solutions for these. This is not what you expect after waiting for such a long time for the update.

P.S : People complaining about buggy updates should remember that OnePlus is trying their Best to release as much and as quick updates as possible.
Also Fingerprint reader seems effortless after the update and much quicker.
Moreover Battery health while playing games has also improved.
Hope to see the next 10.0.2 Update fixing the minor glitches that are still being faced by majority.
