My device is unable to authenticate my fingerprint on the first go. Additionally its taking multiple attempts or longer duration to identify myself after the android 10 update.

I am reset my fingerprint but still it's not working the way it was on android 9

Swipe to right from the centre of the app drawer........
Previously we have to swipe from the left corner.......

Alternatively u can pinch out from the home screen.........

Facing a weird issue after updating to Android 10 yesterday. I get a bluish/purple color flashing on the screen for a second when I unlock the phone or press the power button to unlock. Tried a few things and nothing worked. Had no issues whatsoever when I was on Pie. Any one else facing the same issue?

There are two separate channels in OnePlus, Beta and Stable, once you're on beta you receive beta updates only via ota, to switch back to stable you'll have to flash manually which wipes your data completely.

It's a community forum. If you want OnePlus to take notice, then report on the feedback forum.

if u r talking about previous thread then i guess u dint read it carefully in its entirety. they stopped the previous roll out due to some major bugs. and for this update if u r not able to wait use oxygen updater app

OnePlus already have rolledout Android 10.0.5 for 7t series, then they release 10.0 with bugs to few users of OnePlus 6 series and they failed to release for rest of others. they wanted us to move on to the next series of OnePlus.
I have no intention to update through Oxygen Updater, i have paid to my device and also their services, so i do expect a better service from their side. it's my right.
i didn't pay for a piece of brick
They already delayed the first update.. atleast this one they should release for all as soon as possible.

I have been using the new OOS 10.0.1 on my OnePlus 6 for more than a week now. Don't see much of a issue, the fingerprint scanner works fine, face unlock didn't have any issues. Generally there are no issues of course I did a clear cache post upgrade that I received as OTA.
