i have updated to 10 from oxygen updater and would not recommend it. it's full of bugs. none of the features work properly and I haven't received the OTA for 10.0.1 which my second OnePlus has [e]1f622[/e]

Out of curiosity and impatience, I downloaded the full 10.0.1 file using the updater app and upgraded my OnePlus 7 pro to Android 10 earlier today.

Before I upgraded, I installed CC Cleaner and nuked all my caches and unneeded folders.

The update was pretty painless and the phone seems fine.
I'm yet to detect any major issues. However, I'm not what you'd call a heavy user.

Camera photos don't appear to have improved, despite the newly added functionality and I created a gradient effect theme for my Google keyboard to mask the dark bar at the bottom (picture below).

I'm using Nova launcher with Oneplus gestures and it's working fine.

I did notice that my ported Gcam app now takes a very very long time to render HDR+ photos, which is a shame. I'm gonna see if there are any workarounds for this on XDA at some point.
Unless someone here has already solved that problem and is willing to share their insights.

Feel free to ask questions and I'll answer when able.

    Peace and Love.

    Ok thanks.

I downgraded back to pie from 10 because Instagram won't let me upload videos to stories, but on Pie, it works perfectly

Since you're using a launcher like Nova, do you use the iOS like gestures & when you swipe back to the homescreen, is it fast or slow as if you're using the default OnePlus launcher?

In my experience with Android 10.00, it felt slow

That's the thing. No one reads anything, and people just start to whine and demand stuff they have no idea if it's possible or not.
Same thing with updates. Don't have the update in first 1 hr? Better type "Where is my update?"
    LOL

keep patience for final bugs free update of Android 10 guys. read the thread carefully that it's already explained that it's not region based...it's just random and had rolled out to few users randomly so they can tell bugs fixed or not and on the basis of their feedbacks..they will push the update to everyone and it will come to everyone so you just need to have some patience to enjoy bugs free software update.
