Please tell me, did you receive a notification about the availability of the update, or did you see it through the settings?

Hello friends. Could you tell me how I can officially update the native camera app? Mine is in V.3.8.69, and has no super macro mode. By the way, I would like to know how to update the native system applications, is there a store of OnePlus?

There are no big issues, but many improvements are needed.

    Tedinetto

I got 10.0.1 today. Please tell me why I did not receive a notification about the availability of the update? I found the update only when I went into the settings.

There are two different ways to send a notification to a device. One is to maintain a connection with a server all the time and then push notifications from the server to the device at any time.
The second way is to let the device checks for notifications periodically.
For chat applications the first method is better because it is faster but it drains the battery. For something like update availability, the second method is better because the device can check whether an update is available once a day or even one a week and it saves the battery a lot.

So according to what I understand, the answer to your question is if you wait enough your phone should give you a notification.
