Display setting Auto not functioning properly. Either the display goes to too low or doesn't respond to adjustment.

Issues i found in the update-
    1. My whatsapp is lagging and not working if whatsapp video call is working. I have to reject the call to text someone or else the phone hangs off.
    2. While playing call of duty it's lagging and crashing and sometimes the game is hanging too.

Looks like a collection you got.
Sometimes it's just simpler to do a factory reset with a minimal backup. Like just media files and and avoid to restore data during the setup strange.
Sometimes less is better. And it seems to improve the situation for many.

It does not help with everything though.
WhatsApp has a bug fixed in beta 3 for example. Should be there in next stable unless it's not already there. Some apps still suck in Android 10 regardless of brand so in some cases its up to the app developer.

    Before you do anything...
Please use the feedback tool to report these issues. It exist within the community app.

Ok. Can you tell me, who are the notifications enabled with horizon lights? Because I think the most importante are calls and messages missing, WhatsApp, messenger, Instagram and others equally. I not understand, why we want this horizon lights, if they don't make our job right...

It's in the notification settings for each app, the "Pop up on screen" needs to be enabled for Horizon lights to trigger.

    Hello,
is it just me or my OnePlus 7 Pro lights up slower when I unlock it using the fingerprint sensor, because of the new animation added after the Android 10 update?
I'd like it more if I could disable that animation because, even if it makes the usage more gorgeous, it feels like it's slower than the old instant light up of the screen.
If you could include an option where I can disable that, it would be awesome!
    Thanks!

I trying and don't work. Thanks, but OnePlus, want works more to have a "Always on Display" like others marks. I like to much my OnePlus 7 pro, and I believe OnePlus will go far, but please listen with attention what wants your customers, because are they who makes OnePlus go farther.

You could end up waiting forever though [e]1f609[/e] Always bugs reported. Keep in mind that those that come here are the ones with issues. How would you know how many that it actually works for? There is a huge unbalance between happy and unhappy users here. Because the happy ones are not here constantly talking about it [e]1f609[/e]

Ofcource there is bugs. For some it simply works great and for some it sucks. So many variations possible. Some just need to put some effort in making a factory reset without all that backed up shit slapped on top.
Some app developers has not yet made sure their apps work good on Android 10. Android 10 needs some time to mature and seems to be sensitive about backups, previously existing data and such. Clean is the way to go for minimal issues.

Personally I'm on beta 3 and it feels near perfect for me. Minor things that I'm more than happy to report and it does not bother me. 212h without reboot and no app crashes or issues here.

I don't use Android Auto so I can't verify myself. I'll gladly report issues and investigate it though. Send me a free car that supports it and I'm on it [e]1f609[/e]
It seems like it's not being solved by factory reset nor beta version though. Needs a real fix there. Probably more verified issues hidden here and there that I can't think of right now.
