As far as updates goes, this to my experience is one of the worst unfortunately. Prior to the 10 "upgrade", I genuinely was, (as the expression goes) over the moon because of the camera quality. What on God's blue Earth did you do?!

    1. Pictures are grainy, rather than sharp. Same thing applies even when zoomed in. Revert to 9.5.8 quality please.
    2. Lighting in pictures is off, even with the saturation off.
    3. Raw mode is probably as close you can get to the original pre 10 quality of camera photos.

Also dash charging disabled? My phone charges S L O W L Y. Instead of the usual 30m charging (roughly) it's closer to 2hrs now.

Phone battery drain is worse than it was on pie.

To the Indians in this thread (and boy have I been waiting to say that for a while)... Grow the **** up. Learn to read the original post, and then for good measure, read that again 20 times to get it through your thick skulls that this is a STAGED update. For those illiterate amongst you, staged means gradual, slow, over time. So stop annoying us with your constant "I didn't get the update" and learn to ******* read!! Honestly, moderators should be handing out bans for those that constantly ask the aforementioned question.

I have not touched to beta builds in a long time but I'm sure everything is detailed in the right thread.
As for the official build you can get it from OnePlus website https://support.oneplus.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4312
Make sure the build corresponds to your device and region.

Yep, it will get you out of the stable channel. It is explained on the page where you signed up for the beta version. Make sure you have GM21AA in your build number.

should I just keep my eyes and ears open for a better update I don't mind pixel experience mainly because I came from a pixel 2xl and loved that thing but I do have to say I do like OnePlus for the customizations you can do on their stock ROM with the pixel always found myself installing custom roms for the tweaks lol
thanks for the insight for sure [e]1f44d[/e]

That I don't know as I'm not using this app. I'm not comfortable with closed source apps with ad trackers and tons of permissions downloading builds on my phone for a manipulation that simple.
Getting the build directly from the source is safer. You can probably do a checksum on the build this app downloads and compare it with the official build.

going back to Apple in 2020...

NEVER a long wait on a major or minor update... nice phone the OnePlus is....but it's bullshit the way updates don't come out on a timely manner....newer models get the stuff first? Lame !!!!
    bye bye OnePlus

It's a staged update so there's no saying when you'll receive the update but you'll get it eventually. Just wait for it or if you really want to upgrade that bad you can always update your handset locally. Hope this answers your question. [e]1f44d[/e]

The guy was just asking a question smh, no need to have a stick up your ***.
