    Yeah true. Hoping for a update from One plus team that fixes the bugs soon. Battery is really necessary. Didn't have to keep charger before now I have to. I'll try your suggested method. Thanks.

    I think we should wait longer for stable update. I think it will take couple of months to fix all the issues. It's not only on OnePlus side but on Android related issues. Most apps are not yet optimized for Android 10... and right after Android 10 will become stable there will be new OnePlus 8 released ...
    so we wait longer than "as asap as possible"...

    I'll stick to 9 Pie till the end of this year and see in January if it is worth updating

    I did a factory reset and it is working a lot better. I still don't have Horizon Lights but I am hoping that it will be fixed in the next update.

    There is still a workaround to access that good old hide notch setting though.. so oneplus has still retained it but has just hidden it apparently..

    1) Install Nova Launcher from Playstore.(do not make it your active launcher though)

    2j Create the following widget from within your default OnePlus launcher.. this widget will allow you to once again access the old hide notch option

    After the recent upgrade (10.0.1.GM57AA), adaptive brightness, Whatsapp is not working fine. In Whatsapp I'm not able to share links or photos while calling, basically I'm not able to use Whatsapp like earlier.

    I couldn't agree with you more. 10.0.0/.1 are the most unstable "stable" builds ever released by a manufacturer and should never have been labeled as such. These are Open Beta build quality at best. The A10 builds across multiple series now are an embarrassment to the company's legacy for having an outstanding skin (OOS) on top of base Android and directly contradict their current "Smooth" campaign.

    Do you honestly think that security patches are a priority with a hundred or two legitimate posts like the one above being posted every day?!?!??? They have three series they've released shabby A10 builds for now (7T, 7, and 6 series (though 6 is still Open Beta so they can kinda get away with some crap there.)) Plus there is Closed Beta for TMo 7Pro going on in another thread and they haven't even mentioned a 5G build since promising an A10 build. Security patching NEEDS to be at the bottom of their priority list right now. To my knowledge, there has never been an exploited Android hole that could've been prevented had a device had there been a newer patch on that device. The OP phones can wait a few months for security patches while they sort A10.

    This is the best solution for right now for regular users not wanting bugs.

    I have downloaded and updated my Oneplus7 with this version but After the OS update my google chrome doesn't get updated to 100% .
    I am not sure if this has something to do with the Os upgrade but I see this happening only after the os upgrade.
    do we have any work around or fix fot this
    appreciate any help .

    I don't understand why but it seems to be 50/50 chance you get a stable A10 install, I've installed all versions of A10 and not had the problems, anywhere near as bad as what people are posting on here. I just don't get it.

    I have faced these issues even on my old Oneplus 5 from time to time.

    The solution which works for me is to switch off Wifi.. install any one app using mobile data (4G).. and then switch wifi back on again.

    Another solution which everyone suggests is to clear Playstore cache.. but that has never resolved this issue for me somehow.
