It isn't so much about the trade war, carrier locked devices get updates slower than unlocked devices. T-Mobile and Sprint(5G version) will have to wait for the carriers to add their apps and skins to what OnePlus gives them. I was always a Samsung(AT&T version) owner till I got tired of my friends with Nexus and Pixel devices getting updates faster. So I bought unlocked Pixel now OnePlus devices and get updates faster and I am in the U.S.

Facing issues with phone app. I declined some permissions when asked for the first time and now I am not able to open any saved contact. It is giving error "you have disabled a required permission", gave all the permissions, still the same error.

Goto settings.. Search for Contacts.. Click on contact app info.. In the permission section goto denied section. Click on that and give allow. You should be good.

Updated to 10.0.1 and it is working awesome, sooo smooth THANK YOU ONEPLUS for releasing us from carrier delayed updates!!! Have not noticed any bugs, but the minor things like the keyboard space, that doesn't bother me... feels smoother that Android Pie imo

every article and every comparison I've read between the 7 pro and 7t pro say the cameras are identical. what Hardware difference would that be to not be able to include macro?

    No improvement.
Still lags while switching between windows, opening apps and scrolling.
Disappointing....Feels like 3 years old phone.

Hi I just updated to the new Oxygen update for 7T and some major issues have come up. The phone is functioning very badly with features not working.

ex. Alarm doesn't set. I click the alarm and try to create a new one or edit one and it doesn't work

WhatsApp gallery doesn't let you add pictures to WhatsApp

as of today when I click a picture it shows me the picture but in a blurry way (even though it was crisp when clicked) and then the gallery shows as empty and I can't access any pictures.

big issues here guys. I have a super phone which has turned into an non operational one. What's the plan here? How can I revert to the previous version while the bugs are being ironed out?

    Any solutions?

    Thanks
    Sid
