i have noticed quicker battery drain and heating up of the device after the 10 roll-out. even after the 10.0.2 update i am noticing that.
anyone else noticed this .. any suggestions how i can fix this??

Best measurment I've noted ever has been 0.3% per hour. This has been variating up to 0.5% thus being 4% for 8h. This was with wifi, mobile and location on. Only sleep optimization on. While 4-5% is higher then my best 2.4% for 8h, it's not a disaster and could be under different circumstances reasonable.

If you think app can drain abnormally and keep the phone awake for unnecessary time you could do an analyze with BetterBatteryStats. Then it would be possible to try some adjustments. For example ignoring wakelocks for a certain app. Adjusting battery optimizing mode. Use stuff like Naptime and so on...

Slightly outdated and in need of a rewrite... But still has a few valid points and tricks.

Fix the battery drain in one plus 7 Pro with last update 10.0.2.Before this update was much better.
Is possible to rollback from 10.0.2 to 10.0.1 without lose any data?

I don't know what to do with oneplus anymore... I had to do a few factory resets while testing a BYOD policy at work, and I can install 10.0.2 multiple times, do a full wipe, and get different results.

Sometimes google keyboard will have the borders on, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes during the setup wizard I'm offered to change the information on the lock screen (on top of font, wallpaper), sometimes it doesn't offer me that. Now, I installed 10.0.2 again, did a full wipe, and I'm getting a lot of errors about my phone not being compatible with apps I have used before (outlook for example). When I try the app again it usually works but this is crazy.

I literally do not know what to do anymore. I'm not too fond of trusting a beta build as stable, 10.0.2 is not rock solid, and when I go back to 9.5.13, even with fluid navigation gestures, it doesn't work as well as Android 10.

My 7 pro is my second one plus after the 6T but I think it might be my last. It will either be pixel for fast updates or Samsung because despite their slow updates, they don't push "stable" builds that are so buggy.

No, you'd need to do a full wipe to 9.5.3, then find the 10.0.1 software and upgrade back to that. The OTA will want to upgrade you to 10.0.2

wow, i never get that even in dark mode on latest android build for the 7 pro (Android 9 not 10). I never understood how people can get 6 plus hours of screen on time.

    *tldr below*

After I upgraded my OnePlus phone to Android 10.0.2 on my OP7 Pro I was excited to see the new features and update that this phone bring. however that excitement ended once I connect my op wireless bullet headphone to phone while talking to my friends. I am not sure what causes this problem, but this is most likely a system bug because before the update I had no problem hearing my friend. after the update, when I call my friend, the voices coming out from the headphone sounds very low after I turned it all the way up on my phone and it is still very low. in short, I can bearly hear my friend due to the back quality sound coming out of my op bullet. I have even tried to do a complete wipe on my phone to reset the settings to see if it fixed the problem. however nothing change.

also I have tested on phone speaker the voice sounds fine

I have draw to conclusion where is either that it was the update problem or the OnePlus bullet firmware isn't compatible with Android 10.
I hope the OnePlus team could bring this problem to light and aids the community asap.

I wonder if it's limited to Oxygen OS or if similar thing would happen on a Pixel with Android 10.
Would have been interesting to have a Pixel test phone only for that cause [e]1f609[/e]

That is a good question, it's quite possible that the root of those problems are within windows 10 itself.
