Because it's not Official update by OnePlus.

But it's literally the official package file that you receive during OTA, which is uploaded on Oxygen Updater..

    Source?

It's completely safe and we do some file verification locally so we're sure it's the same package as OnePlus delivers. I'm one of the administrators of Oxygen Updater. The app is fully open-source: https://github.com/oxygen-updater and we have a clear privacy-policy: https://oxygenupdater.com/legal. Those updates you download through Oxygen Updater come straight from the OnePlus servers. It's exactly as how you'd update normally. It makes no difference; it's the same update package as if you'd wait.

I know that. But last time i updated from there apps started crashing. Since that i wouldn't recommend to use that.

everythings fine and smooth.. no issues
    so, its safe[e]1f609[/e][e]1f44d[/e]
and that varies from one user to other. what apps do u use, etc.. factory reset is best to do for new os
