With the new update, my Canadian Bank apps refuse to allow me biometric sign-ins which I'm still able to do with my OnePlus 5T.

Can you please try to look into this? Happy to tell you which apps in particular.

Were you on 9 before when it worked? Have you tried to reset the banking apps by wiping the app data? Could be a compabilty issue with 10. You could ask the developer of the apps or your bank about Android 10 compatibility.
I have yet failed to find a app that uses fingerprint verification that does not work for me.

Oh shit. That's a new one for me.

It definitely doesn't get mentioned when you go through the tutorial or whatever – or I didn't notice it.

Perhaps I'll prefer this over the top 20% of the screen for it. Thanks for the heads-up.

If you look here the blue lines are full size on the screen. Atleast in beta 7. I guess they are visible the same way in stable 10.0.3/10.3.0.
I don't recall if they were visible as 80% hight here before though. If you haven't updated maybe you can check?

If you are referring to 10.3.0 it's not 2 weeks yet. This version number mess and reuse of old 10.0.3 post sure did make it hard to know when those updates was released though. Not even the international 10.0.3 that was rolling out when this post was created is out on the homepage yet.

I haven't seen a situation where I actually need that long press thing.
When the hamburger menu is needed apps show it anyway. Or am I missing a few situations when it don't?

If you have time to show an example it would be great 🙂
Some have mentioned Gmail (don't use that app) and Playstore. But I didn't get it when looking in Playstore [e]1f609[/e]

The reddit app Sync, Play Store, any app with a hamburger menu basically, then you want to be able to swipe easily to access it, instead of tapping the button.

    Especially single-handed use.

You don't need to reach up all the way up and tap and perhaps have to incorporate the other hand. Saves a ton of time.

Ah. I finally understood it. I tried it when the hamburger meny wasn't on screen. Then the shortcut can of course not open something not available [e]1f609[/e] Works on the whole side of the phone too. Thanks. The 4 cups of espresso kicked some sense into me. Going up half 2 in the morning needs alot of coffie [e]1f61c[/e]
