    Check Ram usage

    also list of installed apps..

do check on apps that run in background and limit which is not needed.

for eg a photo editor app might not need to run in background

Also please tell an instatnce like opening a certain app causes hang

do look into ganes that run in background and limit them

permission for apps, eg a game dont need access to storage, microphone and camera

    hope this helps.

    Bro,

Ram Management is a new word i have seen in OnePlus and it felt awsome, I never felt any hang due to low memory.

to tune it manually. (clearly this works for almost all android, different words on different phones)

    1. to keep an app always in memory, you can lock the app from the "recent open apps" screen. which will keep it in memory till you unlock it (look into three dots on right top of each app) this will have an impact on battery as well.

    2. To reduce ram usage, first step is to use minimal set of apps. like one app for music, one for video, one for photo edits etc. Its very hard for a normal user to find out which apps are always running in background. And please avoid apps for icons, wallpaper as these can be set individually by spending a few minutes.

    3. If you go to Apps Page in setting , for each app there is an option of Battery Management which is always set to "intelligent control". You can set it to "optimise" which will keep it out of memory while not using it. Also limit background data usage for apps that don't require it. Eg, Photo editing apps. Keeping background data on will trigger the app to stay in memory even if not used.

please note for every manual tweak you do. There will be behavioral changes in respective app. so do keep a track of what you do and don't mess with system apps.

My personal Suggestion: App like call blocker, antivirus are not needed if we keep a goid practice in what we browse and this we install apps. Avoid Sideloading, unless its absolutely necessary.

    Thank you

Can't. PUBG is a horribly-optimized game, expect high battery drainage.

If the company is offering a top notch performance in speed and gaming so why not play games on the device ?
I think Sd 855 should handle it with ease and there should be overheating or battery drain
    OnePlus should solve this
And even gaming phones of that time offered the same specs so it made sense going for oxygenos

It's not the phone, it's Tencent/Bluehole that's the problem. With Android, it's the developers that have to optimize their apps not the OEM. That's why there's so many fragments in the system.

As for battery, high drainage is normal since it's using the battery to its highest. Same happens on a laptop.

pubg is working great in my device....no lag no overheat...and the battery drains 20% if I play for an hour with extreme graphics(so 5 hrs SOT only with pubg will be insane if projected[e]1f633[/e][e]1f602[/e])...so I feel it's normal...
