I was aware of all this I did get you skim all of the the comments that you would put back together from the experts and stuff like that and that's where we are extremely similar because the first chance I got I got one of the managers from the Tampa office on the phone and we talked about the bands and the merger and what the merger means with them being able to stack the infrastructures on top of each other to increase their 5G band and use existing hardware and so on so forth I didn't get to fully finish the post I will say that right now I may have missed some things I'm stuck in traffic right now so I have a little bit of time to read but you know if I miss a movement in traffic I got 10,000 horns going off on me but I do always enjoy the amount of time and effort that you put into getting information on things that you actually care about it's really amazing and you always help me fill in any gaps that I may have missed so I thank you for that

my excitement about getting the phone wasn't based on the 5G more on having the next incremental update for collection sake and my own love of one plus

I can hardly believe the FCC would allow TMo to do this. Either I'm missing something or this is the same exact thing that AT&T is doing with 5GE. It looks like other carriers and the FCC don't care or are paid off to shut up.

Dude, don't get in an accident reading OP forums!!! It can wait!!!

Well... Here there was some kind of cheating regarding broadband definition. They simply lowered the limits demanded in the definition to get more money to fund more types of higher speed internet connections... So some cheating with fake 5G that is in best case just some tweaked 4G would not surprise me. That mess regarding definitions of 4G and LTE was fun... Wonder what mess 5G brings

I literally just found out that Band 66 includes Band 4, so maybe I've been judging TMo too harshly and they're only 95% lying instead of completely lying...

Hmm, try to update Gboard with apkmirror then. Also, are you rooted or something ? Are you using another keyboard with this ? Maybe you installed an app that modified the navigation bar.

I don't have high demand on 5G. I just hope to get fairly stable around 100Mbit. If not it would not be that much better than what I currently have with peaks slightly beyond 200Mbit but more normally at 175Mbit as peak performance. The lower ends is the problem. Especially at certain time of the day and at more crowded towers.

TMo network engineers told me that Bands 2 and 4 were being used to transfer the data while 71 was being used to increase the range. So perhaps the 5G being shown on the phone's status is coming from Band 4 (via Band 66) and Band 71 just isn't turn on in Memphis yet (because range completely sucks.) It still doesn't explain why T-Mobile 5G isn't showing up in available Network operators. Two different technicians were surprised that it wasn't showing up and were trying to troubleshoot it with me for at least 30 minutes each, so it's supposed to be there.

I have the same issue with 10.0.3 as I did with Beta 6. Can't connect to WiFi on planes. Flew two weeks ago on a Beta 6, wouldn't connect. Flew on Tuesday with 10.0.2, worked with zero issues. Did the update to 10.0.3 and flew today, didn't work.

    Anyone know a fix?

How is Instagram since 9.0? I went to 10.0, 10.01, and 10.02, now back to 9.0 Pie because Instagram on Android 10 of either versions WON'T upload videos on Instagram. It's OnePlus problem because 9.0, works flawlessly.
