download activity launcher from play store, open it search for notch and you'll get original one plus setting to hide notch.

once you do hide notch you may uninstall the app, setting will be there permanant .

yes, OnePlus will bring the feature back but may take a while.

though App is third party setting is of one plus which is in the phone just hidden. you need app to trigger it, as i said if you don't want to keep app in your phone, you can change settings to hide notch and uninstall APP after it.

Issues with this update ( 10.0.3) - taking approx 1.5 hr to get fully charged. moreover the battery drain issue still exists.

i haven't charged my phone after update, but battery drain is not seems to be problem.

    battery backup seems fine

As already replied here several times , if your versions is a BA build meaning a EU version there is not yet an update available! only for the AA builds there is.

It's the other way actually, assume like 20-30% people who own OnePlus device are on community.. in which as much as 80% users have issues. Now think about people who aren't on community, they might also have issues, but they choose to ignore and I myself know many such people. So basically, we can assume that only 10% OnePlus owners are having no issues, with 20% owners ignoring issues. Rest 70% are still facing one or the other issue.

Well whatever you or I say here doesn't carry importance at all because Neither OnePlus or it's team is going to read this... The problems are there but just a fraction of users have those... So better be patient and wait for the release of a new update.. Or reset your phones and check... Waiting is the only way, no other choice right.
