Try turning on auto switch to mobile data under wifi preferences. There is also force enable mobile data always active under developer options in case you want to try that setting

The force enable mode eats up battery like anything if you did not know.

I have all these on and still get through my day easily with 30-40% left. Sync, Location, Bluetooth all turned on all the time.

Google it if you don't believe me. If you forcefully keep data on with WiFi, you lose considerable amount of battery. I don't know what your usage but since I turned it off I'm getting better battery life than before.

I would rather do research on "what is ram and how it works". Why are you making useless conclusions on something you're not familiar with?

I was just surprised why it was taking up so much ram my older phones such as the so never took this much ram. also system did not take up 28gb on the so but on the OnePlus it does. I just want an explanation why it takes so much.

yes!! scrolling issues are really frustrating. it's not smooth and fast. it's slow, unresponsive and jerky. not impressed at all at the moment with 7TPro. I upgraded from my OnePlus3 and that was way way smoother! go figure.

I've never seen mine light up either! didn't even realise it existed until I saw it posted elsewhere. haven't yet found that setting to switch it on (if there is one). guessing there probably is but we'll buried in config settings....

You are in the wrong forum, alas.

This is the 7T Pro forum.
    Not the 7 Pro.

The 7T Pro is a newer model, the "T" is a small upgrade.

hello mate my scrolling is perfectly fine and smooth on my 7t pro. my battery life was decr when I started using it 1 week ago which was around 6 hours of sot but now it's amazing now I get at least 7 and a half with mostly 8 to 9 with moderate usage of YouTube and social media apps with camera used for half an hour.

There are issues in this update

    1. Do not disturb mode doesn't really work. Sounds notifications come through and horizon light also comes up. Checked all possible settings. Have to use toggle switch to make it silent.

    2. Android Auto keeps crashing after the update.

    3. OTPs from banks don't come through. Same with Uber app. That has been the issue since day 1, even before this update

Battery backup is better after the update and the phone has stopped restarting when using heavy apps.

Do fix these issues. I keep going back to my 2017 Huawei Mate 10 Pro and that 2 yr old phone is just as good as this one in most areas and way better in some, like stability, ram management, battery backup, customization etc.
