I would like to see December security patch with the next update and the horizon light should be glowing atleast for a minute for each notification. I really miss the notification LED from my OnePlus5T. This horizon light duration customisation would be great.
    Kindly add this feature OnePlus.

How we managed to fix battery drain and screen lagging/stuttering issues on OP7T Pro McLaren (OOS 10.0.4)

Hello Guys. We found a workaround to battery drain along with screen lagging and stuttering issues found on update to OOS 10.0.4. My friend who got his OP7T Pro McLaren edition about 3 weeks back was experiencing severe battery drain issues and screen stuttering on his device. His device came with OOS 10.0.3 out of the box and he did an update to OOS 10.0.4 on the same day he unboxed his phone. Ever since he's been experiencing severe battery drain and was getting about 3 Hrs 45 mins of screen time with basic apps installed. Most amount of usage was accounted by Android System 21% and Screen 19%. He had to charge his phone at least twice a day. We closely monitored the device and compared it with mine where I was getting about 7 hrs and 20 mins of screen time (I own a OP7T Pro McLaren too). My device did not have any screen lags or stuttering but his device did and battery life was half of what I was getting.

    Solution:

    Solution was simple!
    1. We wiped cache from the boot loader (tutorial here),
    2. Re-flashed the device with a full rom OOS 10.0.4 (downloaded from here),
    3. Once it was re-flashed, we did a factory reset on the device!
    4. The device was brought back exactly as it was manually (not restored or synced backed from cloud) with the same apps and settings
Crazy as it sounds yeah? Well it did the trick. No more screen stuttering/lags and battery life improved to 7 hrs and 50 mins of screen time with the same apps installed! We've seen this result consistently for about a week now.

This also solved many other minor issues that we were experiencing like camera shutter delay, camera hanging during videos.

Similar to what I usually recommend. (factory reset without Google backuped data). The sync from the cloud contains app data. So when receiving a new device and set it up it's best to avoid "previously used device" to avoid using using old, possible problematic, app data. If you want to transfer stuff from the old device it's better to use Oneplus Switch. It only copies the apks and does not save app data.

I second that! Additionally I turn off the AppData Automatic restore option itself to avoid any app data to be restored back when I reinstall any app. This lets me start fresh for any app.
Settings > System > Backup > App Data

Extremely horrible for OnePlus 7T Pro users. Always updates slower than 7T. Make user confusion

Why two different ROM version numbers ? Is your changelog similar to the one I posted in my screenshot ?
