    It's not an India version. It's a global version. The other one is the EU version. That's it.

    @Manu J.

    (Please read till the end because it's not only complaining about not receiving the Update.
    Thanks)

    7 PRO EU version and still no update after 17 days.

    It's my 1st OnePlus and i came to this brand due to OxygenOS and for seeing several people talking so good about OnePlus and their customer services and updates.

    Honestly, it's proving the contrary! The OxygenOS is very good indeed but the updates are bad (specially, or coincidentally, when a new model comes out) and their support is terrible! I'm waiting for about 1 month for receiving, at least, one answer about two (software) tickets, being one of them extremely simple for OnePlus, and till now nothing!

    -No OTA update (we will receive the March Security patch almost at the end of April!!! Even Samsung and Huawei are doing better!)

    -No solution by customer service. What the hell, not even answers; they only send satisfaction surveys! And my question is: What do you (OnePlus) think that the result for the surveys will be (already was)?

    It's becoming a pretty disappointment. Even HTC, when it was already almost at the same level as Titanic(...) was faster helping, and with hardware issues not software!

    At least the phone is good but this can not be enough in the future...

    After reading so many complains about this last updating I guess I won't install it when I get it.
    Much better stay the way it is 10.3.1 because my OnePlus 7 Pro is working very fine. Any problem to report. So why update?
    Sorry.

    I basically see many strange errors and complaints every single update both on beta and stable. If I go by that I would still be on the factory firmware 😋
    So it's hard to say if you would get issues or not. Most times the complaints you see is just a very small fraction of all users.

    I've got to say you have a point, although it's always a little bit confused and scary when we read so many opinions and complains. I couldn't be more satisfied with my smartphone so sometimes become difficult analise so many technical terms and decide what to do. OnePlus has never disappointed me so I must be confident that everything is done to improve our experience. Thanks a lot.

    I think now that the 8 series has come out, our phone is officially 2 generations behind. And this means that the frequency of software updates is going to be restricted noticeably. Pretty sad actually, because it's been merely one year. Also, I am a bit surprised that they can't even take security updates seriously. Receiving a security patch with a 1 and a half plus month delay on an previous year's flagship is weird.
