Yeah but for me i choose it at one time investment for 4-5 years as hardware is capable of that... what i think if you are competing in this space and we chose you as our provider we want our devices to compete too... as like other providers.. with the same lifecycle as our devices...

I don't know much about Redmi but... Comparing one month does not tell much. My guess is that they don't update security monthly either. So it would be better to compare a longer time frame and more than just what security level they have. Overall experiance and features and so on...
Personally I had phones that sent security updates approx the 15th every month. Security and bugfixes. More or less every month. Barely anything happened or changed. So very boring.
And a other one was similar and didn't even offer a changelog at all...

Yeah you got a point.. there .. but why do we need to compare oneplus and redmi these days.. OnePlus is a far better provider than Redmi .. in no circumstances for a brand like Oneplus we should see a day where we are comparing a 600$ phone to 80$ right?

The security update alone has very little to do with the price point though. There are both very cheap and expensive Android One devices.
I do however feel that Oneplus need some focus change on stable so they could start rolling out monthly security (at least now when they have entered premium flagship level). It's a nice thing to have. And would create a better reputation. Many seem to assume they get monthtly security when buying Oneplus.

I think OnePlus should focus more on fine-tuning Oxygen OS and their apps. For example, they really need to improve their default camera- both in image quality and features. Gallery app UI can be changed to make it easier to use. Users have reported about sound output through Dolby Atmos. In display settings, colour calibration is rather confusing. Basically, Oneplus should improve whatever is already existing. There are a lot of little things that can be improved. New features can be added now and then.

Swejuggalo is supporting OnePlus. I've been seeing your posts since many updates, they are informative and shows positive side of being in Oneplus.
    I'm with you (passively atleast)
