Sometimes they are similar but still they are different at several levels. Different drivers and more. If you look at the EU firmware 7T series don't even have the same version numbers. 10.0.8 (probably 10.0.9 now) and 10.0.5 here... Same thing with 6T. Different device, similar version numbers but very different in hardware, differnt SoC and different camera and such.
Dont stare blindly on the version numbers. What matters the most is that the software is for YOUR device.

I'm testing this ugly bright theme just to show you... Space is there.. But filled in by keyboard theme. Gboard should do the same.
Change theme back and forward both in keyboard and light/dark mode on phone. It should behave like my keyboard but maybe got stuck somehow. Swiftkey in my case. It never failed on me.

BTW I always thought Google play system update was supposed to be included in a "full" security update... But now it can actually lag behind Oneplus security update. Odd. Is it that way Google intended it to rollout? Slower than the phone brand themselfs? I thought that function would provide fast monthly updates to everyone regardless of brand update patterns. Kind of defeats the purpose if it's even slower then regular security update... Or maybe it just wasn't included this time of some reason

Guess it's high time now OnePlus should start mentioning users to wait for the update to settle. We'll, it's not there fault to.. how would they say that when they keep saying Never Settle elsewise [e]1f61d[/e]

Pixel should have been your priority, then. Or even nokia. OnePlus staged roll out is really slow
