    Three points :

1)All of Oneplus's stable updates will be a staged rollout meaning it will be pushed to limited devices in the beginning before being pushed to all eligible devices. Always has and always will be this way.

2)There is no ground breaking bug prior to this update that would deem anybody "sufferable"

    3) This is a forum, Clouding it with unnecessary content only detoriates from the overall community experience.

Kindly wait and the update will be rolled out to all devices.
    Thank You.

You don't need 100% every single time no. But avoiding it completely does more harm than good. Draining battery close to 0 does more harm than a full charge. Also extreme heat and cold will affect the battery.
Long term storage needs 50%, maintenance charging, and a controlled temperature. Not very user friendly if you actually want to use the device. And Android itself wants 100% for some maintenance work.
Even the time the phone stays on the shelf waiting for an owner the battery slowly degrades... Don't worry that much. The only true way to save a battery would be not to manufacture it to begin with 😋

Optimized charging is being tested in beta channel. It will keep it at 80% during most of the night and finish charging to 100% in good time before you wake up. That way you both get optimizing done and you don't need to be at 100% during most of the night.

Lockbox? Tried joining beta for the File manager? What version now?
    How does it not work?
4 digit pin unlock has been upgraded to 6 digits. That broke it for those that registered with 4 pin. Now fingerprint should work as standard and you can change to a new 6 digit pin after fingerprint unlock.
That fix is at Filemanager 2.6.X

Can some upload the OnePlus 7 Global and India (GM57AA) full zip file if they have it. Oxygen updater is not showing the update neither connecting to other countries through VPN is yielding any results.

neither XDA not other resources have this file yet.

    Thanks

Charging the phone to 100% doesn't cause any damage to the battery, it just wear faster because electrons create more friction and then more heat and physical stress (it's a much more complex thing to explain) so charging between 20% and 80% is the healtier choice for the battery.
The Oxygen OS unluckily optimize itself only when the phone is fully charged and taken pluggen in for some time, and there is a logic beneath this procedure.

There is a known issue since they updated from 2.4.x to 2.5.x.
2.6.x is comming and should restore functions for everyone that register and started using it at 2.4.x.
If you are in a hurry and want 2.6.x join beta temporary. When upgrading to 2.6.x just leave and you get stable updates after that. Or fetch it from apkmirror

I agree that the right way is to charge between 20 - 80 but once in a while it's good to give the phone a full charge.
