Better moderation is always good. Not sure how much it will help here. Especially in the update announcement thread. 10 replies on the same subject does not seem to stop a other person to ask the very same question right under all the answers. I really hope the amount of users asking the same question over and over again and expecting different answers is low. In such cases there is no hope for improvement and mods need to step in. But all those that does not read and asks for updates and such... As long as they don't return and ask the very same question after an reply there is atleast some hope for improvement 😋
In some kind of forums you can expect most users to have some knowledge beyond a certain level. Here it's all over the chart.

So while being flooded by the same questions... What gives the best effect. Give an answer or hand out a warning from a mod? Unless it's the very same person over and over again I'd say give an answer 🙂

It's staged rollout, mate. Not region specific. Read the first post. OnePlus staged rollout can take ages to hit your device;)

Guess it has become their tactic now.. announce an update for name sake, forget about it for 15 days or so and get back to their next series phones.

True, we can't give a certain answer for all things. We can share what we know and explain the normal procedure. Oneplus practically admitted that there is a common misunderstanding amongst users thinking the community is an official support channel and expecting official staff to respond. Don't remember what post I read this...
Learn 100% of all Oneplus users that comes here to read and search before posting is a very hard task.
That take me to the search... The search in Community app.... Let's just say I know I have mentioned BetterBatteryStats many times... And it find nothing in 7/7 Pro area. But it finds posts in other areas that is several years old. I doubt nobody mentioned it since 2017... The problem here seems to be in the titles. The app only finds it if mentioned in the title. Needs an option to find more than just words in titles. Can be done with a simple checkbox.
Search needs to improve and offer an more advanced search within the app. Maybe it's even more usable to offer "titles only" as an alternative search rather than the standard one.

I have just recently purchased my first two One Plus 7Ts. Does this update permit activation of VoWiFi? I truly need this functionality due to no LTE where I live and for sending and receiving SMS.
