    Not exactly...

    https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oneplus-software-maintenance-schedule.862347/

"As per the maintenance schedule, there will be 2 years of regular software updates from the release date of the phone..."
"...and an additional year of Android security patch updates every 2 months."

So, they are talking about "security" updates every 2 months (along the 3rd year), and not "system" updates ("regular" doesn't necessarily mean "bi-monthly").

    Regards.

This colour difference in camera . The blackish region in first pic turns bluish in second.

Thats pretty poor OnePlus, they need to release monthly incremental updates and patches.. like the Big Brothers (Samsung, Google, LG etc...) Else no point buying a spec phone with outdated software...

What?? Lg? Lg updates are every three months, and depending on the family (V, G, K...) even more.

Samsung has updated its top end family (S) to android10 few weeks ago while OnePlus did it long ago.

With OnePlus you have the best support in android. Only pixel is above (obviously).

My last phone was a HTC U11 and only received ONE update in one year. ONE. Incredible but sadly true.

For me, OnePlus is like heaven.

for the files for which you need to flash. the firmware updater doesn't allow us to flash h2os any longer. payload.bin within the zip holds a packed ota package of system, boot, product, abl, modem, etc.

sorry this is for advanced users, pretty easy and straight forward if you know what you are doing, but I have limited time to make a tutorial. it is extract payload from zip,.flash images in fastboot and fastbootd. that's it.
