Screenshot of settings and did you flash Recorder Magisk Module?
I'm in the U.S. so that may be why I don't have the option, which by the way I don't care about any way.

I haven't flashed any modules. I am located in India and it doesn't have strict laws about call recording. And I do have call recording option enabled inside Settings of Phone app.

I still dont get it...even after updating my phone the security update is stuck at November 1, 2019 but I saw in Official OnePlus site where they already have the security update of Dec 14,2019.

You're right. You clearly don't get it.
When you say you've updated your phone, what version have you updated it to?
The most recent Oxygen OS version is from December 13th and that contains the November security update which you clearly have.

I think he is talking about Verizon variant (or T&T?). That variant has its own updates.

Security level has nothing to do with the price tag.
If it wasn't for the holliday and delays due to virus outbreak we would have had January by now on the 7/7T series.

I don't know how that specific brand does updates... But OnePlus do bi-monthly security updates AND offers closed and open betas developed side by side the stable path on most phones.

just update the Google play system for now it contains a good bit of the Google side of vulnerabilities.

people need to relax! there's people really sick out there in the world right now and all your whining about something as small as an update really shows how entitled you are.

Maybe report it instead of shouting it into a forum where you're only going to get blasted. Nobody here cares about your heating issues. Report it via the official channels.
