But there is no meaning by doing this....its same like the other phones available in market...wid 60hz...😆😆😆 In short term you are fooling your self only....🤣 Crazzy Bettery Life...[e]1f525[/e]😆🤣

I have noticed that my device doest get the updates every time there is one being rolled out.. My device tends to only receive every other update. I'm still on 10.3.3 hopefully I'll get this one. Does anyone else go through this where 1+ only gives you every other update?

Many hours of SoT does not nessesarilly mean you have crippled the phone and use the lowest resolution or 60Hz.
As an example, many complain on battery on 8 series... Especially on 11 Beta and 11 Stable. With my specific usage my SoT can go beyond 11h when it peaks. Minor tweaks here and there. Using AutoHz to manually select 60 or 120 for every single app. I use QHD+ and 120Hz with the manual selection instead of letting Oneplus choose what refresh rate app X is allowed to use. Sometimes I force 60Hz. Sometimes I force 120Hz.
I configure apps to run without location unless it's a must for the app main feature. Most stuff I let the phone auto adjust but known battery hogs and stuff I rarely use I put on Optimize.
If something works just fine via a browser I use that instead of an resource hogging app. Take Twitter for an example. It can be "installed" via the browser like a webapp.
I monitor the behavior of battery usage via BetterBatteryStats. If something consumes more than I want I try to tweak it or figure out why it happens and see if ad do something about it.
What I do I would call making the best out of it. I do everything I want to do but it the most optimal way.

If someone has different apps installed. Different usage. Different location and so on... Stuff changes. Even for me I get about 2-3h different SoT differance between a work day or a free day mostly at home. And that is mainly due to network condition (both spotty mobile network and WiFi) and slightly different usage pattern.

If you prefer to wait on the final rollout you can always download from the homepage at Support, Software upgrades.
I've seen a pattern where many US users got updates late or even skipped one...

I don't mind waiting, I don't want to install something that may have a lot of bugs. I've heard some people get their updates from the updater app. My only question is that, once you download from that app & install updates that way. Does Oneplus stop sending you OTA updates?

No. You get OTA normaly after updating trought oxygen updater. The only difference is that you dont see update logs in software update. But everything else is same as OTA (my expirience).
