Equal number of space wasted on suggesting a third party app to download a system update. Did oneplus recommend that app to download the update? NO. There were times when oneplus made it impossible tor oxygen updater to pull the update file.

Why would anyone want to use a different app for downloading a system update. It should always come from manufacturer themself. The whole purpose of existence of oxygen updater app, they know oneplus delays the update rollout process and they earn from that (ads & paid version?). Its an indirect business for them. I am not questioning it. People who don't have patience to wait, using that option. Well some don't and still prefer to get the update directly. If you use that option it's not necessarily everyone should use it and keep silent.

If update not yet received even after 21 days of announcement, questioning the same can't be considered as "noise".

Tell that to the senior members of XDA-Developers. They'll have a field day with that. ;)

Why would someone buy a phone to get updates from a third party app ? We work hard for our Money to buy such a device, so we should get what we paid for.
I also use Oxygen Updater right away after an update is released or after flashing with MSM Tools, but that's not what we paid for in begining

Even though there is a trick you can get updates and it's the same one used by Oxygen updater through the backend server of OnePlus but still kinda illegal tho

Kesinlikle sebepsiz. Herkes güncellemesini 48 saat içinde alabilir. Sizi hiçbir şey durduramaz.

Üzgünüm, "gürültü" forumu mahvetti. [/ QUOTE]

how much do you charge for this comment !!!!

Wow, there's actually a debate whether Oxygen Updater is "legal" or "oh I didn't pay xxxxx amount to update via a 3rd party app". Let's put this down to rest -

The app legit just pulls the update from the server and provides it to you. Literally as same as you personally downloading it from the official website (after months when Oneplus decides to upload the same, for reasons as given below) and manually installing it.

The only difference is time - Oneplus rolls out the update gradually to avoid any risk of failure/bug on the end user so they can quickly pull the firmware and roll it again with an imbedded fix.

Also, relax. It's just an update.

Users paid for subscription to an OTT provider. They released a movie and says it's a gradual release and everyone could watch in "few days" . Some users could watch and some couldn't. If the users who didn't receive the content questions the delay and there is no response from OTT instead the users who r able to watch asks others to download via a site and watch. Did OTT recommend that site to watch their content? No!!

You should have the got my point by now.

I can't even fathom how you think that comparison is remotely relevant to a software update.

Still trying to connect the dots of your point's relevance.
