I think new phones launched today.. so update will be late for users.. because OP will focus to provide them update..
It's hard time for OP to manage both.. productivity and continuity..
They should remember the old customers who makes them stands in this sector.. but unfortunately they won't care now..

That's for sure , but guess what instead of pushing useless updates inform of security patch , they called off the update . Now it's time for major update .

Of course it's recommended... if you want to drain your battery sooner.

If you want to solve the problem, DO NOT wipe caches (unless you have any specific problem with an app or the WHOLE system), and let your phone charging overnight for some days. In a few days you should notice the difference.

    Gyz wait, have patience .
The update is being tested for your good .
If they just roll out without any testing & if it has a serious bug , then again u you all will report in the bug report section & expect the next update .
So just wait & let them roll this out once via OTA & hopefully this is going to be a HOTFIX .
I understand that how hard it is to code a algorithm of a software update , so plzz wait .

Looks Like OnePlus is Finally Settled Now
    #bugs in every-update
#slow updates ( still waiting for android 11)
#not as fast as it used to be(September security patch in the month of October@22nd)

Be happy atleast we are not like samsung, and the rest of the competition, who never get security patch updates for mid range phones.

Samsung and others appear to be doing a better job with keeping their OS secure with timely security patches.

Conversely, OnePlus seems to only be concerned with selling you the next phone.
