That's obvious bro, but Oneplus has to understand that their business relies on people like us who buy their devices which have been top notch but not being able to push software updates and security patches gives a feeling of lax attitude from their side.

The security patch is necessary as online frauds are so much on the rise and if that little thing can't be taken care of, I don't know how they handle the bigger problems.

Bro I was talking about the flagship series of Samsung. I have a galaxy S10e and a Google pixel 2xl running with latest security patches and updates . So I guess it's with mid rangers that Samsung might be slow with.

As for Oneplus every other phone is a flagship, at least I bought 7 pro thinking the same and hoping that software updates would be on time. Guess that won't be the case anymore.

You are comparing $250 phones with $700 phone. Pick similar size. Galaxy S10 (released 4 months before oneplus 7 series) got October patch on October first week.

OnePlus pushes great software updates , but if uh r from those who need updates all time like every week , then uh can move towards any other local cheap brand like Xiaomi & then see all the BUGS that uh get in those phones via OTA updates 😂. So be thankful to OnePlus for BUG FREE & awesome SOFTWARE updates. 🙏

Your comment makes lot of sense than all other combined. Thank you. It reflects mine. Monthly security patch is much needed for someone like me who uses enterprise apps all the time. Even if its once in two months it should be current month security patch. Now with this update I will be using September month patch till oxygen 11 arrives somwhere late December or early January. That's really not fair. Its time to adjust the release cycle a bit.

Also beta is not for everyone. If anyone looking for latest patch chooses beta, that person would have lot more to complaint than praise.

Exactly my point mate, I just said gave an example of s10e and if Samsung can push an update for that then why can't Oneplus do the same for its flagships.

What do you think about the OB for Oneplus 7 Pro ??

Would it be OS 11 beta or OB 19?
