Ah..They can't even give a bug free security patch update on time N We're expecting them to give us ANDROID 11 by December/ January ,even if they did it'll be full of bugs , battery drain Etc ,
    Lol 😂😛
Perhaps we should low our expectations on them 😕 as we can see They can't live with that 🤷🏻

When brand new "whenever needed" basically due to new device issues. More like monthly but could be faster. Slows down the closer it comes closed/open betas. And from that point on bi-monthly most often.

Unfortunately nobody from OP read this forum. They only come to create update thread and gone until next update

Well I was actually being sarcastic with the fact that OnePlus commited a bi monthly update for phones that our series is not supposedly getting and OnePlus is launching new phones every few months. 😅

The fall of Oneplus Legacy!!! Carl will be missed!!!
Update Policy has gone for a toss. I am sure no moderator has now rights to paste any policy to any of the comments stating the "Bi-Monthly" updates!!!

Shit happens though. This type of situation where they cancel an update mess up the schedule.

Sure thing. I am a developer myself and can understand that shit happens and that's the reason why I don't really care much about an update. Because for me, I would rather have a stable new feature rather than an update pushed with the description "system stability increased" because of consumer pressure.

They gave last update on 30-09-2020 which never reached out to most users because of the bugs. Accepted. They released 'Hotfix' after 22 days which most of the people i believe haven't received even after 8 days of it going live.
If this continues, i see a very big problem coming for OnePlus users of old devices and by old i mean 7/7T series and older.
Sadly, Carl Pei leaving has taken a toll on the company's basics.
