They are stating heat levels beyond 45° while gaming and other use... that's not normal! The current os version doesn't go past 40-43° even after heavy gaming use!

that's not the point why do they bring updates out at different times for every device? so other people get it first then I have to keep waiting it's ridiculous

Did I say factory resetting will get him on the stable channel?? I dont think so... All I said was that he'll need to perform a factory reset (lose all data) if he wants to flash the stable build... Dont lash out at me if you've misunderstood

the phone heating up depends on your ambient temps too. I'm in the UK and with it being cold here never had a problem with the phone getting hot. if you live in India then obviously this will be common. Some people need more common sense

bro screen is getting heated within 5 mins of usage. No battery draining issue. I have done all these things like factory reset and clearing cache but no change.

wait for sometime. walk into service centre after this lock down. Check once bro...Same screen and camera heating I faced it in my McLaren then they said battery problem.

    Test it:[e]1f447[/e]

Reduce your screen brightness or Keep it in night mode all the time for 2days then see the changes..

So there we have your problem. You need FULL update. Not an incremental. Go into settings and select FULL.
Flashing will probably wipe your phone though.

so the only solution is to factory reset my device to get the stable version? but i thought full update only works if your phone is rooted, my device isnt

When you installed beta the first time you used a full beta install. When returning to stable you use a full stable. Incremental only works from stable x to stable y. Or a special incremental made for stable x to stable z and so on... Too many missing updates and the phone automatically chooses full update.
When installing beta over stable its an upgrade and you don't loose data. When flashing stable over beta, even if update is newer than the beta, it's kind of an revert to "older" update path. Many of the recent Oneplus phones wipes automatically in such cases.
It says it clearly at the beta posts. See screenshot.

Unlocked bootloaders and root means the whole system can be modified. You can't incrementally update something that has been modified.

Checked 4k 30fps? Even 7 Pro has that...

I don't recall anything about 960fps. So I'm uncertain there... Was a while since I watched the launch event.
I assume they talked about interpolated 960fps if that was the case
