With your help, we have been able to better optimize and improve several key areas. How to install and consequences

    1. Pie Open Beta to A10 Open Beta: Via OTA, no data loss.
    2. Pie Stable to A10 Open Beta: By installing the beta package mentioned in the beta thread, no data loss.
    3. A10 Developer Preview to A10 Open Beta: By installing the beta package mentioned in the beta thread, no data loss.
    4. A10 Open Beta to Stable Pie / Pie Open Beta rollback: Use the rollback package in the Developer Preview 1 thread or the one in A10 Beta 1 thread, will constitute data loss.
    5. A10 Open Beta to A10 Stable:
No information as of yet if this can be directly done. History suggests that you need to use the rollback package to go back to Stable Pie and then either wait for the Stable A10 OTA or do a local upgrade to A10. Will constitute data loss.
Note: Initial reports say dirty flashing doesn't wipe data. But do it with precautions.

    6. Pie Stable to A10 Stable: Via OTA, no data loss.
    7. A10 Stable to Pie Stable: Use the rollback package in the Developer Preview 1 thread, will constitute data loss.

Note: As a precaution, it is always adviced to take a backup before any major android upgrade.

Moderator Notice | Thread Locked for Clean up

    More to come ...

    Mod Edit | Thread Cleaned & Re-Opened

Thread Cleaned and some off-topic posts have been deleted. While going through the last two pages, this back and forth between a couple of users have disturbed the whole flow of the thread. These kinds of conversations are most certainly fit for a PM instead.

Everyone is entitled to having their own views/opinions on this or that, but this doesn't give anyone an invitation to be unkind about it at the same time either. If you see something that doesn't seem right or is possibly against the rules, please do not reply, just report it for the Moderator Team to investigate and take any necessary action.

Please do not engage in this type of activity and familiarize yourself with the forum rules before you post.

All members are expected to read and adhere to the forum rules. No one expects you to like them, but in order to use this forum, you ARE expected to follow them. Don't forget that you agreed to keep these rules when you signed up.

OnePlus is a customer-focused company so feedback whether good or bad is extremely important to OnePlus, as it is only on the receipt of such information it can assess and improve the services that they offer.

I would recommend to always maintain a constructive approach in your feedback/criticism while you post in public. Please remember to be civil and kind to other forum members when you post and respect each other's opinions to provide constructive feedback or criticism.

Any further violations or off-topic discussions will cause serious infractions or ban. Should this disregard for the forum rules continue, further action will be taken. Let's keep the thread clean and stay with discussions related to release of Android 10

    Thank you for your cooperation,

    Moderator Notice - Thread Cleaned

I have cleaned the thread once again. Everyone should know the rules already If you're unfamiliar with them I advise you to read them again here.

Alright, I wanna touch base on some things going on within this thread real quick, This back and forth between several users in this thread is childish, Not only the posts in THIS thread are off-topic, they blatantly used the language that violates the rules.

Everyone is entitled to having their own views/opinions on this or that, but that doesn't give anyone an invitation to be unkind about it at the same time either.

This is a courtesy warning. Should this disregard for the forum rules continue, further action against the account of the defaulters will be taken. This is NOT a threat, it is an established truth regarding those who choose to violate the rules. Warnings serve as a reminder to you of the forum's rules, which you are expected to understand and follow.

If anyone has any questions about this, Any concerns, please feel free to PM me directly and we can hopefully resolve it for you.

Having said all this, the update should be on its way in the coming days, so all we ask for is a little more patience.

    We are Almost there ...

Thank you for your patience and cooperation,
