Performance in this build is all over the place. It'll go from snappier than OOS 9 to extremely choppy/sluggish for long periods of time. I don't think this was ready for primetime.

Guys suggest a VPN and the location of the server cuz I've tried a lot of VPN and many different countries but still did not get the update! I'm not gonna do a local update because I need the files in my internal memory.

It is mentioned in the description that this OTA is not location based. So trying to use vpn to download is not going to work. It is a staged rollout to a limited set of people. Wait for your turn.

If you are using OnePlus 6T then try using Oxygen Updater.

What I think is we should wait for the update to roll out for our device. As Oxygen Updater is a third party application available in Play Store , it may have some bugs and may cause issues later on , I think .

Is it safe to download the update from Oxygen Updater ?

it's very safe as it pulls the updates directly from OnePlus servers

Unless you have an official statement I hope this is absolutely not accurate. To me it looks like a bug, and it's very ugly aesthetically. On pie I used all along gestures and I never had issues with any keyboard, although I can see how with the new "bar" gesture some issue may arise while typing, I can guess it shouldn't be extremely hard fix. Even before android 9 (and for a while when on 9) I used an excellent app called Vivid Navigation Gestures that deals with this gesture-keyboard issue very well by suing the timing/height of the gesture and automatically disabling certain gestures in a given app, etc. that app works great but it's useless in this particular situation with that ugly gap. The only solution I can think of is going for the adb shell wm overscan 0,0,0,-100 command posted here, but I dislike how it shifts the entire display even when a keyboards is not in use. In any case, IMO this looks ugly and I hope it gets fixed.
