those who want to hide notch install nova launcher
go to widget and select nova activities
in nova activities go to setting

Unless you have an official statement I hope this is absolutely not accurate. To me it looks like a bug, and it's very ugly aesthetically. On pie I used all along gestures and I never had issues with any keyboard, although I can see how with the new "bar" gesture some issue may arise while typing, I can guess it shouldn't be extremely hard fix. Even before android 9 (and for a while when on 9) I used an excellent app called Vivid Navigation Gestures that deals with this gesture-keyboard issue very well by suing the timing/height of the gesture and automatically disabling certain gestures in a given app, etc. that app works great but it's useless in this particular situation with that ugly gap. The only solution I can think of is going for the adb shell wm overscan 0,0,0,-100 command posted here, but I dislike how it shifts the entire display even when a keyboards is not in use. In any case, IMO this looks ugly and I hope it gets fixed.

May be in the first place we have to find that spacing bug is from Oxygen OS or Android Q....?
Because I didn't observe it that particularly, Only Pixel OnePlus and Mi have rolled out A10.

Sadly the gap exists in the newest 7T too. I was utterly disappointed to see that is happening in beta and view in stable too. I mean, wtf. how can such a great company suddenly make such shit UI changes!?

I agree, I think though to be fair this may be coming from the Android itself and not from OP. Dunno, but I'm sure someone will notice if enough ppl complain about it lol

There are two file managers in the OxygenOS 10.0. One is named File Manager and another is Files. Is it a glitch or this is how it's going to be.
